IAFB is a small organisastion with a huge heart. We set up as two Asian women – with a vision to provide high quality care for Asian children in the care system.
Through our work within the Local authority and voluntary sector – it became apparent early on that Asian children were being inappropriately placed. This was because there was a shortage of Asian carers. We saw a gap in the service and thought we can do this.
It is always difficult to start a new project – but IAFB has made us develop as individuals and as an organisastion and for that we are truly greatful.
To understand the importance of fostering, it is important to understand your own values and beliefs at IAFB we strive to do this.
We thoroughly enjoy our work and every day holds a different challenge. Working together with such a positive team-makes our day shine.
